This year ‘Environment Day 2022’ is being celebrated all over the world under the theme “Only one Earth – living sustainably in harmony with nature”. Keeping it in mind, Christian Commission for Development in Bangladesh (CCDB) has celebrated the day with some interactive and engaging activities with the active participation of coastal communities in Bangladesh.

CCDB organized a day-long program including an art competition, community resilience workshop, and a rally with a view to creating environment and climate change awareness in Bagerhat and Barguna districts.

School students, community people, and youth have actively participated in the art competition. Indigenous plants were given as a token of gift and also special prizes for outstanding performances.

An exhibition of community-led adaptation technologies was also organized by the local community-based organization.
