International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction 2022
Christian Commission for Development in Bangladesh – CCDB is celebrating the day with some interactive and engaging activities with the active participation of the communities of coastal and drought areas in Bangladesh. This year the theme of the day was- “Substantially increase the availability and access to multi-hazard early warning systems and disaster risk information and assessment for people by 2030.”
The day was celebrated in the Coastal area of Patharghata, Barguna by arranging rallies, discussion meetings, Fire and safety training and swimming competitions. In the drought area of Porsha, Naogaon the day was observed by arranging a rally.
This day was observed by arranging discussion meetings, rallies, and fire & safety training.
