Latin America and the Caribbean Climate Week (LACCW 2022) is scheduled for 18 to 22 July in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

The Week will engage and empower stakeholders from across the region. Participation by diverse stakeholders opens opportunity to forge partnerships, address regional risk and move forward together on climate action.

LACCW 2022 will be held from 18-22 July in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. The Week will engage and empower stakeholders to drive climate action across countries, communities and economies. Working together opens opportunity to advance climate action, address social inequalities and invest in development that is good for humanity and nature. LACCW 2022 is a collaboration platform to explore:
  • Resilience against climate risks
  • The transition to a low-emission economy
  • Partnerships to solve pressing challenges
LACCW 2022 is hosted by the Government of the Dominican Republic. The event is organized by UN Climate Change in collaboration with global partners UN Development Programme, UN Environment Programme and the World Bank Group. Partners in the region include the UN Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (UNECLAC), the CAF–Development Bank of Latin America, and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB).
