A rally was organized by CCDB’s Climate Change Program at Patharghata in Barguna on the occasion of World Environment Day 2022.

This year ‘Environment Day 2022’ is being celebrated all over the world under the theme “Only one Earth – living sustainably in harmony with nature”. Keeping it in mind, Christian Commission for Development in Bangladesh (CCDB) has celebrated the day with some interactive and engaging activities with the active participation of coastal communities in Bangladesh.

A discussion meeting was held at the end of the rally. Babu Jagadish Chandra, acting headmaster of Ruhita Secondary School was present here, Sarwar Hossain, the headmaster of Ruhita Government Primary School, and Padma CCRC President Abdur Rahim were present there. The meeting was also attended by other dignitaries of the area. Speakers on the occasion said, “If the environment is free from pollution, the next generation will be able to live a healthy life. This is why we are celebrating this day with the expectation of a great future for them.”
